Tuesday 2 PM - 5 PM

The class is geared towards the theory of art. Building on your painting technique by developing your own individual style, critique and feedback is essential in this course. The live and supportive exchange will guide students and allow growth during each and every class. Each assignment is structured for students to hone their unique mark-making, color selection, and overall visual composition. Students are encouraged to push their creative boundaries and define their creative language.

SURFACE: 20 x 15 canvas or a canvas comparable

MEDIUM: Titanium white or flake white, Cadmium red or vermillion red, Naples yellow, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Lemon, Cadmium red, Alizarin crimson, Sap Green, Viridian Green, French Ultramarine, Cobalt blue, Yellow ochre, Burnt umber, Burnt sienna, Ivory black 

BRUSHES: Long-handled oil painting brushes Filbert size 4,68,9,10 (Two of each, but not mandatory) Round size 4,6,7,8 (Two of each, but not mandatory)

THINNERS: Odorless Turpenoid Linseed oil 

MISC. Palette knife Paper towel Palette to mix paint
